TR-ON Complete!!

TR-0N my Star Wars/Tron mashup droid is complete.  I'm not going to go into a lot of the technical details of how he works in this post. This will be more of a completion victory lap. I'll do another blog post later this week that goes into the details.

I got TR-0N done about a week out from my stated goal of taking him to Super MAGFest.  I had a blast!  MAGFest (like most cons these days) leans heavy anime so I wasn't sure if anyone would be interested.  They were!  When I first brought him into the hotel on the first day I just wanted to get a photo in the Gaylord atrium gazeebo and in front of the big Super MAGFest digital sign.  I could hard get 10 ft without somebody wanting photos or videos.  I was really amused with people wanting to take a selfie with him.

TR-0N got in on the Star Wars photo shoot Saturday night and got to dance in one of the impromptu sessions that pops up in the atrium.  Everybody was really nice about asking to touch and photograph him.  Really an excellent first outing for me.  

He handled great even on the cobblestone in the Gaylord.  Again, I'll make another post that goes into more detail on electronics and the control system.
