Unicron Sound/Light Details and Kit Options
Posted by Chris Carpenter on
A number of people contacted me expressing interest in a kit of the sound/speech mod I did for my Haslab Unicron. I'm open to the idea but I wanted to first explain the details of how the mod is installed. I posted a video to make it clear: I think the most important thing to understand is that installation of the electronics requires you install the upgrade kit to split robot/planet modes. My original plan was to put to lights and sounds in the Lego Falcon. However, I got sidetracked. I started working on the 29" Hasbro Rebels Falcon conversion. I finished up the CircuitPython code and it works well. The electronics will go in the Hasbro Falcon first but a similar setup will also go in the Lego Falcon. The completed code currently has engine lights only because there really isn't a good place on the Hasbro Falcon to put gun lights. The script has engine start, guns firing, hyperdrive, flyby and hyperdrive failure sounds. I saw one of the commercial...
